Nice spot. The beach was nice and calm. The sand is hot as hell, you’ll have to make a run from your chair/towel to water and then back— no joke. Water sure is best bc of how hot the sand gets. Water is beautiful and perfect for swimming. There’s changing rooms, bathrooms, outside showers, and there’s also a food thing at the entrance.In the 1950s it became known as the “slum of the sea”. However, it wasn’t till the 1960s that Venice Beach was recreated. Old buildings were demolished to bring out new structures.
