You don't need to use Toyota branded fluid in your power steering system. Any Dexron compatible ATF fluid will work just fine. The reservoir is out of an '86 2wd truck and says "use Dexron type Power Steering fluid" on the cap. And the box is out of a '90 4runner. Both trucks had a similar oil in them... atf like smell in them and both were transparent ...
