A Verizon technician came to my home yesterday because my Internet wasn't letting me download photos and it was acting strange. When I did a Verizon Fios Speed test, it was poor. I contacted Verizon Tech Support and they too got a poor speed test on my Internet.I moved the router to the room on the other side of the exterior wall from the ONT as running Ethernet across the house would have cost me $500. The Verizon install tech drilled a hole and ran both Ethernet and coax from the new router location to the ONT. outside he connected the new coax run to the existing coax to support FiOS TV
