I pulled out T-Mobile physical sim, then made a hard phone restart (volume button up, volume button down, hold the lock button). iMessage started working on Mint immediately after that. Then I inserted the T-Mobile sim and set it as a secondary once again. Everything seems to be working on Mints now. Share.
