It is a 1949 Marlin 336A 30-30. That old rifle will still easily shoot 2" 100 yd groups with iron sights. I just bought a 1969 336 Texan 30-30 and took it out shooting a few weeks ago. I load two loads for my 30-30's a 150 gr and a 170 gr.
