It's the third time this has happened. The other times we thought maybe we'd forgotten to close it after unloading, but this time neither of us had used the car the day before.Two days later, the liftgate stopped working. After some searching it looked like it could be attributed to the battery. Autozone confirmed the battery was on the way out, so I replaced it.
