Fj cruiser subwoofer upgrade
Hi, I did contact them and the guy recommended this component speaker system and said I wouldn't need to wire in the crossovers: Infinity Primus PR9610cs Primus Series 6"x9" component speaker system at Crutchfield. I set my budget a bit higher (~$300 - $500) and figured I'd solicit opinions here. Plus the 'P.S.'.You can't do that with the OEM subwoofer. Unless you plan on adding a good bit of stuff to the factory stereo, i would just leave it alone and add the sub.

If you're using the factory harness, you'll want to install the factory switch. Be aware that there are two OEM subwoofers, make sure you have the one for 2006-10 FJs. You can spend $300 on a new HU with 50 watts per channel, or you can spend $100 on an amp. This also worked where a Pioneer AVH-1440NEX, using the Crutchfield Crux SWRTY-61S Wiring Interface, was connected into a 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser stereo stock wiring connections.
