Whereas the Michelin LTX AT2 does better on wet roads, and provides better off-road traction especially on rocky and muddy terrains.The LTX A/T2 offers a smooth road ride in most weather conditions. The 265/70R16 Michelin LTX A/T 2 has a diameter of 30.6", a width of 10.7", mounts on a 16" rim and has 678 revolutions per mile. It weighs 41 lbs, has a max load of 2403 lbs, a maximum air pressure of 44 psi, a tread depth of 14/32" and should be used on a rim width of 7-9".I have narrowed my choices down to the size 285-65-18 and the following two types of tires Michelin LTX AT/2 and the BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A. The only other choice I would consider is the new Michelin MS that have been mentioned lately, but they are in a smaller size, and new so don't expect much feedback for use on our trucks.
