Under a 3k load, the apex 12k winch is about the same speed, 12 feet per minute. My 2500 dollar Warn 12 Xeon Platinum is.. 13fpm at 3k load. All properly made 12v electric winches in the same size class will have ABOUT the same spooling speed for the same load, because they can only pull so much current through their diameter of cabling, for so long from the vehicle's battery.
