I have had very similar results between the two. Because alumihyde comes in the spray cans, it gets my recommendation because of ease of application. Mixing the duracoat and spraying with airbrush or other means is more of a hassle.Never had an issue with a nozzle getting clogged. After my first clog or two, after spraying I use a paper towel dipped in paint thinner and rub the nozzle face clean. This does the trick. Also I picked up a bag of extra nozzles from Brownells. Has anyone found any replacement fan style nozzles other than the brownells that will fit the aluma hyde can? The nozzle that came with the can gets clogged up about every 2 minutes and starts to splatter. I've read the replacement nozzles from brownells are even worse.
